Just Listed in Manassas: Garage Townhouse for $459,000
As I type this post to share my newest listing at 9705 Cheshire Ridge Circle, a quick MLS (multiple listing service) search in Gainesville, Bristow and Manassas reveals that this townhouse is your only option for purchase this weekend if you are looking for a one car garage townhouse. If you are looking for a three bedroom townhouse with no garage in these areas that is not a condo, your options are slightly more than a dozen. In an inventory situation like this, this seller could have handed me the keys, done zero preparatoin, refused pictures and would still be getting showings. That is most certainly not the case. The seller of this Manassas garage townhouse wants the home to be as move-in ready as it can for the next owner. Let me show you around.
The living room pictured above was carpeted when the owner purchased it. Adding hardwood floors to the space continued what had been started in the kitchen and dining area. The entire home has been updated with paint and lighting fixtures throughout.
The kitchen was modernized with a black and white theme. The cabinets were refinished to a black, and the contrasting island to a white. Glass fronts were added to cabinets to elevate the space, as well as pendant lighting over the island.
Across from the kitchen, sits the dining area. Meal preparation and visiting with guests can happen simultaneously. There is also a sliding glass door to the newly resurfaced composite deck.
Despite backing to the Prince William Parkway, this townhouse benefits from a sound wall and a tree barrier. Not all townhouses backing to the Parkway in Hensley Ridge have the sound wall behind them. Traffic noise is not even a thought when you are enjoying yourself here, outside or in.
The soaring ceilings in the owner’s bedroom are sure to please, as is the walk-in closet. The ceiling is also higher in the attached owner’s bathroom, set up for relaxing soaks in the tub or the convenience of a separate shower and double sinks. The owner carried the black and white theme from the kitchen to the tile floor they added here.
The secondary bedrooms down the hall are currently in use as his and hers home offices and offer ample space for a full or queen size bed and accompanying furniture. The full bathroom off the hallway is the more common tub/shower combo with a single vanity.
The basement beacons you to cozy up in front of the gas fireplace and enjoy a movie when there is a chill in the air. Here you also have quick access to the patio under the deck and the fully fenced yard. The washer and dryer are also located on this level behind where the sofa is pictured below.
Down the hall, beside the entrance to garage, is the second half bathroom, also put in by the current owner. Behind the shoji screen is an under stairs storage area. It is the pefect place to store warehouse store bundles of paper products or even holiday decorations.
In addition to the updating of this townhouse, the current owner replaced the entire HVAC system and water heater in the last two years. That will bring serious peace of mind to the next owner.
The owner is accepting offers until Monday, May 8th at 8pm. Showings are filling up fast and weekends offer the most availability. If you, or someone you know is interested, don’t hesitate to reach out for a private showing.
